I’m excited to be back in Kansas, hanging out with YOU! I grew up in Bellevue, NE and college led me to Benedictine College in Atchison, where I played soccer and fell in love with the charm of small towns, vibrant cities, and some truly lifelong friendships. Unfortunately, my time in KS was short-lived, as I had retorn my ACL (for the 2nd time & just had my 9th because soccer is TOUGH) and ventured out to my folks in Colorado Springs. I ended up staying there, had my daughter Madison and met my husband and his sons. Colorado Springs is also where I was lucky enough to land my first radio gig, back in 2007. I spent almost 15 years playing on and off the air, in all the formats, but country music has always been #1 in my heart. I planned on staying in Colorado, until an opportunity in Lincoln, NE opened up, allowing me to host my own morning show. I learned a lot, helped rescue dogs from the local Humane Society and met some incredible people. However, budget cuts eventually led me back to the drawing board, but thanks to the amazing team at KFDI and the warm welcome here in Wichita, I’m living my dream once more, right here at home.
