Crews from several fire departments were called to a house fire late Wednesday night in Sumner County.
The fire broke out at a home on Ponderosa Road near Belle Plaine around 9 p.m. The home was a total loss.
The people in the home got out safely and there were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
