Shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday, someone found an unresponsive woman in the road near 69th North and Webb. First responders arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman as 26-year-old Karlie Bidwell, of Fort Scott, Kansas.
Officials have not released any information on Bidwell’s cause of death. An investigation is ongoing.
