In today’s Country Music Minute, we feature rising star Jameson Rodgers. This former college baseball player has put his time in and now has a top 20 single with “Some Girls”.

As we continue to mourn Charlie Daniels, he shared his picture and story about Charlie when Jameson first played the Opry

Last year when I played the @opry for the first time, Charlie came up to me backstage and talked with me and my family for 10 minutes. He didn’t have to do that but that’s the kinda guy he was. Thanks for being a great example Charlie. Will never forget that night and will never forget you! RIP
