Kim Spencer didn’t hesitate with the answer one day when she and her dog Kona were walking near a lake close to home when a six-and-a-half-foot alligator lunged out of the water and locked its jaws around Konas head. Kim immediately jumped onto the back of the alligator and began to wrestle with it, trying to get its jaws open enough so Kona could go free. Miraculously, she succeeded. Both she and Kona needed stitches but are on their way to recovery. When you risk everything for the four-legged member of your family, THAT’S AWESOME.
