A Sedgwick County judge has delivered a guilty verdict for a Wichita man in a fatal 2023 shooting.
A bench trial was held this week for 27-year-old Carlos Anderson-Honeycutt on a charge of first degree murder. He was found guilty in the death of 24-year-old Britnee Wicker, who was found with a gunshot wound at a home near Pawnee and Oliver on November 12th, 2023. Police determined that her death was the result of domestic violence. Anderson-Honeycutt was arrested two days later at the U.S.-Mexico border near Brownsville, Texas.
Sentencing has been scheduled for May 27th.
