The public will be able to watch practices on Wednesday for the eight teams playing in the West and Midwest Regional games for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament in Wichita.

Games will be played Thursday and Saturday at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Open Practice Day on Wednesday is free and open to the general public. Fans will be allowed and encouraged to come and go throughout the day but they’ll be required to go through the security process on each re-entry of the arena.

Arena officials announced the practice schedule for the teams:

11:00 a.m. – SIU Edwardsville
11:45 a.m. – Houston
12:30 p.m. – Georgia
1:15 p.m. – Gonzaga
2:00 p.m. – Drake
2:45 p.m. – Missouri
3:30 p.m. – UNCW
4:15 p.m. – Texas Tech

The doors will open at 10 a.m.

The game schedule was also announced by arena officials for Thursday:

SESSION 1:
1:00 p.m. – (16) SIU Edwardsville vs. (1) Houston
3:35 p.m.* – (9) Georgia vs (8) Gonzaga
SESSION 2:
6:35 p.m. – (11) Drake vs. (6) Missouri
9:10 p.m.* – (14) UNCW vs. (3) Texas Tech

Tipoff times for Saturday’s games will be determined by the NCAA after the completion of the first round games on Thursday.
