An intersection in downtown Wichita was closed Wednesday afternoon after a number of bricks fell from the upper stories of an apartment building.
The bricks fell from the 5th and 6th floors of the vacant Commodore Apartments building, and crews found the bricks scattered across the ground. No one was hurt.
The intersection of Elm and Broadway was closed because of the incident. There was no word on the cause of the collapse, but the age of the building was believed to be a factor.
