A home in Clearwater was destroyed by fire late Tuesday night, but no injuries were reported.
Units from Clearwater and Sedgwick County were called out shortly after 11:30 p.m. to a home in the 100 block of South Byers, and they saw flames coming from the entire structure.
There was a report of people trapped inside, but crews found that the residents had escaped safely. The Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called to help with the investigation.
