Wichita police said an animal was found dead and skinned inside a dumpster at an east-side location.
The animal was found last weekend in the 7500 block of East Rockwood, in a neighborhood near Central and Rock Road. Police said the animal was medium-sized, but they were unable to determine what type of animal it was. They are working with the Kansas Humane Society to determine the species and the cause of death.
