Today, we salute Navy Veteran Brit Jackson. With a desire to leave her hometown of Greensboro and see the world while also following in the footsteps of other family members who served. Brit joined the Navy and made history as part of the crew assigned to decommission the USS Enterprise, which was the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the U.S. Navy. After her service, she was on a journey to entrepreneurship as the owner of a Real Estate Agency. Through all of this, she has never lost focus on her desire to serve. Beyond the uniform, Jackson continues to serve. She’s been a volunteer with Horsepower Therapeutic Learning for nearly 10 years. Thank you for being a helper, Brit, and THANK YOU for your service.
