Drizzle was falling in the Wichita area Tuesday afternoon and it could turn into freezing drizzle with some fog into Wednesday morning.
KFDI’s weather partners at KWCH, Storm Team 12 are not expecting major icing but there could be a glaze on roadways for early morning travel. Some areas of western Kansas could have some dense fog.
Freezing drizzle is expected from south central Kansas into the northeast part of the state. Patchy slick spots are expected, especially on bridges, elevated highways and overpasses.
The sky is expected to clear Wednesday afternoon with temperatures warming into the low 40s for the Wichita area.
