Today, the AWESOME is in Saginaw, Michigan. Last week, a bike was stolen in Saginaw, Michigan, typically a story that wouldn’t make national news, but this did for a special reason. The bike not only brought its owner joy but was the only means of transportation the man had. Along comes Detective Presley to investigate, and once he learns how important the bike is to the man, he takes matters into his own hands. Rather than let the man go without, the detective personally purchased a brand-new bike for him using his own money. A photo shared by the Saginaw Police Department captures the pure joy on the man’s face as he stands with his new bike, thanks to an officer whose kindness speaks louder than any badge, and Detective Presley, THAT’S AWESOME.
