Police are investigating a shooting incident that left one person with serious injuries in east Wichita.
A drive-by shooting was reported shortly before 5:30 Saturday evening on westbound Kellogg near Edgemoor, and police said it appeared to be dispute between people in two vehicles traveling west. An 18-year-old man was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds.
A motorcycle crash was reported on Kellogg a short time later, apparently because of police activity and a traffic back-up after the shooting. The motorcycle rider had minor injuries.
Police are still investigating.
