Georgia had its Cocaine Bear, now Houston, Texas has “reefer rats.” The Mayor of Houston said that drugs being stored in evidence lockers are attracting rats that feast on the illicit narcotics and cause damage to other evidence in the process. The Mayor went on to say, “We got 400,000 pounds of marijuana in storage that the rats are the only ones enjoying.” At least the rats should be easy to catch, just put some Doritos in the traps because they must have a crazy case of the munchies.
