Today, the AWESOME is in Sao Luis, Brazil. Bruno Lobo, an orthopedic doctor and Olympic kite surfer from São Luís, Brazil, is being hailed as a hero after saving a young woman from drowning in the ocean, and it was all captured on video while Bruno was kite surfing, testing a new camera. While surfing, he heard desperate cries for help. He spotted the woman and quickly changed course to respond to the woman who had been pulled far from shore by the strong currents. Once he reached the woman, she clung to his back and Bruno guided them both safely back to the beach using the kite. Bruno described the rescue as “The day that God used me as an instrument to save this young woman, all honor and glory to Him ☝🏻 🙏🏻.” Saving the life of a stranger, Bruno, THAT’S AWESOME.
