Rose Hill police said this week they are close to completing an investigation into the death of a 6-year-old girl.
The body of Kennedy Jean Schroer was found in September, 2024, buried in the back yard of of a home near Rose Hill Road and Rosewood Street. The discovery was made after police were called to an incident involving an adult at the home of the girl’s adoptive parents. It’s believed that she died in November of 2020.
Rose Hill Police Chief Taylor Parlier told KFDI’s news partners at KWCH that it’s hoped the findings can be presented soon to the Butler County Attorney’s Office, and he hopes to have another update on the investigation within the next month.
