Two new members of the Sedgwick County Commission have been sworn into office.
Former Wichita City Council member Jeff Blubaugh took the oath of office for District 2 in a ceremony on Sunday. Blubaugh defeated incumbent Commissioner Sarah Lopez in the November general election.
Real estate broker Stephanie Wise was sworn in to serve District 3, and she takes over for David Dennis, who did not seek re-election.
Blubaugh and Wise will take part in their first regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, and a new chairman and chair pro tem will be chosen to serve for the next year.
County Clerk Kelly Arnold and County Treasurer Brandi Baily were also sworn in for new terms after they were re-elected in November.
