Today, we salute Army Veteran Michael Green. After his service, it took Michael a long time before he had an honest conversation with himself that made him realize he couldn’t manage his PTSD by himself. That help came the day he was matched with his service dog named “Worth.” Since that match, Michael and his family have seen big changes. Worth helps Michael with things like hypervigilance in public settings like grocery stores. When Michael needs to look for something on the store shelves and take his attention away from his surroundings, he knows Worth is watching out for him.
