An unidentified man was injured late Friday night in a shooting in a north Wichita neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 1900 block of North Kansas around 9:30 p.m. and they found a man with a gunshot wound to his right arm. EMS treated the man at the scene but he was later taken to a hospital by a family member.
The man told police he had returned home and was checking his mail at the curb when a car pulled up. Someone motioned for him to walk up to the car, and when he approached, several shots were fired.
