A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than 70 years in prison for the shooting death of another man in 2020.
A judge sentenced 44-year-old Christopher English to 618 months for first degree murder, 216 months for criminal discharge of a firearm and eight months for being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon. A jury convicted English of the charges in December.
A shooting was reported in December, 2020 at a home near Funston and Main, and 49-year-old Michael Horn was killed. English was arrested and charged in August of 2022.
