Today, we salute Allison and Ismael Gonzalez. The couple were at their local mall back in October when they saw a person collapse. Immediately, they rushed to help. Allison is a CPR instructor at a local college, and Ismael received life-saving training during his service in the Navy. Working as a team, they began chest compressions in an attempt to get the man’s heart beating again. The two were soon joined by a retired doctor who found a defibrillator and joined in the life-saving efforts. The team of good Samaritans kept the man alive until paramedics arrived and rushed him to the hospital. Allison says she hopes to hear from the man when he fully recovers.
