Today, the AWESOME is in Medford, Oregon. A day at the movies became one to remember for retired firefighter and EMS Danny Moreno. Danny, his wife, and their granddaughter were at the movies watching Moana 2 when, a few rows away in the theater, came crying for help, asking if anyone knew CPR. 6-year-old Mosie had collapsed. Mosie suffers from SVT, or Supraventricular Tachycardia, which causes sudden and dangerous changes to her heart rate. Danny heard the cries, jumped over rows, told Mom Allison not to worry, and began CPR. Eventually, paramedics arrived, and Mosie was fine after a short trip to the hospital. Being at the right place at the right time to save a life THAT’S AWESOME.
