McConnell Air Force Base provided more than 100 free Christmas trees to its airmen on Tuesday.
The trees were donated by Trees for Troops, a program by the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation that aims to improve the spirit of the holiday season for U.S. troops and military families. This is the first time that McConnell partnered with Trees for Troops.
Each tree was provided with a hand-crafted ornament donated specially to McConnell from the Smocking Arts Guild of America, along with a box of lights.
