A Wellington man has been sentenced to over 32 years in prison for child sex crimes involving five juvenile victims in Sedgwick County.
A sentencing hearing was held Thursday for 60-year-old Stacy Alan Munsell, who had pleaded guilty in October to four counts of kidnapping and furnishing alcohol to a minor. He had also been charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child. He was sentenced to 394 months in prison with 36 months of post-release supervision.
Munsell was arrested by Wichita police in 2021 after an investigation by the Exploited and Missing Child Unit. He was accused of a number of incidents of sexual abuse against five juveniles over a six-year period.
