An unidentified woman was taken to a hospital with critical injuries after being hit by a car at a southeast Wichita intersection.
Police were called to the intersection of Lincoln and Rock Road around 6:15 Monday evening. They found a woman in her 20s who was struck by a northbound vehicle while crossing at a crosswalk.
The female driver of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspected DUI, and police are still investigating.
