Officials with Wichita’s Exploration Place museum have announced the temporary closure of its riverfront pathway.
The pathway will be closed through December 20th for construction and maintenance work. During the closure period, a clearly marked detour route will be in place to guide foot and bike traffic safely around the construction zone. Signs will be posted to ensure the safety and convenience of all pathway users.
Construction activity has been going on at the museum as part of the EP2 Initiative, which includes a 1,500-capacity riverfront amphitheater and 6-acre destination playscape.
