Wichita police said a man was found dead in a south side neighborhood on Sunday, and the death has been determined to be a homicide.
Officers were called to the 3800 block of South Hydraulic around 1:15 p.m. Sunday on a report of a deceased person. They found 53-year-old Marvin Walldren slumped over with visible injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy on Monday confirmed that the death was a homicide, and detectives are looking into the circumstances of Walldren’s death.
