Today, we salute 86-year-old Korean War Veteran John Harrington. John is a musician at heart and a very active 86-year-old. While most of us would drive 11 miles to our credit union and only if we needed to, John bikes the 22-miles round trip a few times a week to visit his credit union and the people there he considers friends. When his bike started to fall apart, another member of the credit union surprised him with a new bike on his front porch. John says he intends to ride it a lot because his secret to longevity is to keep moving, or “you’re a goner,” as John puts it.
