A Wichita woman died after being hit by a car Thursday morning in west Wichita.
Police said 48-year-old Angela Carrillo was trying to cross West Street at Central when she was hit by a car just before 8 a.m. She was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the car, a 74-year-old woman, remained on the scene to talk with officers.
