The machinists strike is over at Boeing and now employees are bracing for layoff notices.
Boeing plans to cut ten percent of its workforce, which would be around 17-thousand workers. Layoff notices could go out this week.
Boeing’s CEO says the company has lost 25-billion-dollars since 2019 following whistleblower reports, safety issues, and congressional hearings. Boeing has not said where the layoffs will be made.
