Today’s awesome is in Gastonia, NC. Bo, the 18-month-old bloodhound, has an impressive resume full of good things. Bo’s impressive achievements, along with his partner Sgt. David Rowland, include locating an elderly dementia patient, tracking a missing 11-year-old, and helping apprehend robbery suspects despite challenging conditions. His keen sense of smell and gentle demeanor have served him and his community well. That’s why Bo just received the prestigious title of Hero Dog for 2024. The Hero Dog Awards are in their 14th year and came down to a public vote. Proving everyday why you are the “top dog”, Bo, THAT’s AWESOME!
