An airman from McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita has been arrested in connection with a child sex crime.
Base officials said Wednesday that the 20-year-old airman was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from Sedgwick County District Court. He is a member of the 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron.
A statement from McConnell said base officials will continue to monitor the case and provide assistance to local authorities.
