Today, we honor Marine Veteran John Klink. John spent 32 years in the military, and like many, he found it difficult to transition to civilian life. Thankfully, he had his knowledge of farming and agriculture to fall back on. After his service, he went back to farming. He grew grain but mostly hay for the horses at his wife’s equestrian center. It was at that center that he was able to help other Veterans. He and his wife would invite them out to interact with the horses free of charge.
