Today, the AWESOME is in Oklahoma City. It’s a story that proves kindness means doing the little things. Liz is known as “The Butterfly Lady”.  She has Parkinson’s, and years ago, she lost the use of her hands; she couldn’t even feed or dress herself. Then she started working with paper to make beautiful butterfly creations and the use of her hands returned. The other day, she was out on her front porch when the Waste Management truck pulled up to collect her trash. The driver, Terrance Davis, noticed Liz and, at that moment, jumped out of the truck, brought her cans up the driveway, and asked Liz where he should put them. Liz said that in his busy day, Terrance’s random act of kindness really touched her heart. Liz said, “Our lives aren’t about our walk; they’re about making someone else’s walk a little easier.” Proving the importance of being kind, Terrance THAT’S AWESOME.
