Law enforcement is responding to a reported bomb threat at Maize South Middle School in NW Wichita. The report of the threat came in just before 730 this morning. Maize USD 266 has sent a message to parents and guardians in the district advising that the school is being evacuated following a threatening voicemail message left at the school. “The evacuation is precautionary while the school is being searched. School is not being dismissed at this time. Additional information will be sent as soon as its available.” This is a developing situation and KFDI will post more information on our website and in our app as it becomes available.
