It’s a growing trend that will hopefully catch on. Bank of America is the latest company to raise its minimum wage to $24/hour. This is part of their pledge to increase it to $25/hour by next year.
Wichita is doing its part for the planet. The plan aims for residents, local government, and businesses to cut greenhouse gas emissions across the community in half by 2035.

A Washington state woman has no one to blame but herself. Years ago, she began feeding a few raccoons on her property. About 6 weeks ago, she noticed the numbers were growing. The other day, she had to call 911 because she was driven away from her home by about 100 raccoons that she said were acting aggressively, or I’m guessing, looking for more free food.
It looks like the Guinness Book of World Records folks have become “mad desperate” for content for recognizing a man in Vegas who claimed up and down the stairs in his home to break the world record for the “Everest Challenge” in less than 23 hours. Sean Greasley did say one of the rules was he couldn’t touch the banister because you wouldn’t have that on Everest. You know what else you wouldn’t have? The warmth of room temperature and all that oxygen.
