A man wanted for the shooting of a Texas police chief could be in Wichita.
Texas authorities are looking for 33-year-old Seth Altman in the shooting of Memphis, Texas police chief Rex Plant. The shooting happened when Plant and an officer tried to serve an arrest warrant for burglary. Plant has been released from a hospital in Lubbock.
Altman is wanted for attempted capital murder and a reward of $10,000 has been offered by Texas Crime Stoppers for information leading to his capture. Officials released different mug shots of Altman and he is reported to have ties to Wichita. He is a white male, described as 6’4”- 6’5” and approx. 220 pounds. He wears glasses that are possibly missing one of the lenses.
