Tonight, at 11pm, when you’re listening to B-dub, you’ll be treated to the world premiere of the new Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood duet, “I’m Gonna Love You”. The cool thing is you get to hear it an hour before anyone else.

I know you have a pretty good imagination and you can close your eyes and hear how good their two voices are going to be together. Here’s the thing, this song has been done for over a year and now it makes sense.  When CoJo came to town a few months back and we were chatting about new albums and music, he hinted that he had something big coming.

Now, how did these two meet? Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood first met in person backstage at the 2022 CMT Music Awards in Nashville. On that night, Cody performed on the outdoor stage on Broadway in front of a live crowd in the pouring rain and Carrie won her 24th and 25th awards, setting a record for the most awards won in the history of the show. Cody’s stellar appearance won him the Performance Of The Year award the following year. From there, they sparked a friendship that resulted in this dynamic duet.

I can’t wait…let the countdown begin for what promises to be a monster #1 song for both of them.
