Today, we salute Navy Veteran Alan Wile. Among all the bikers and joggers at his local park, you’ll find Alan picking up trash and taking pride in his community, one piece at a time. If you’re lucky enough to pass him while he goes about his work, and you have your dog with you, he’s known for his dog treats too. Best of all he’s known for keeping his local park clean. After 32 years of service in the Navy, and with his grabber he ordered off Amazon, Alan keeps busy at the age of 87 spending his days walking in the park. Occasionally, he finds money, but his big reward is a clean park. Thank you for being a helper Alan and Thank you for your service.
