ORPHEUM THEATRE PARTNERS WITH 101.3 KFDI AND CLASSIC ROCK 104.5 FOR ANNUAL HOLIDAY SCREENING OF NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION

Wichita’s historic Orpheum Theatre is thrilled to partner with radio stations 101.3 KFDI and Classic Rock 104.5 for their annual holiday screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Movie Synopsis: As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen, and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie, and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark’s employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs.

Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 with pre-show games and trivia hosted by the stations’ on-air personalities. In addition to the Orpheum Theatre’s standard concessions, themed cocktails will be available and food trucks like the Urban Skillet and Smokin Diner will be onsite serving delicious food from 5:00-7:00pm.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 through Select-A-Seat. Tickets are priced at $10 general admission in advance, $12 day of event, and can be purchased online at selectaseat.com, by phone at 316.755.SEAT, and in person at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at INTRUST Bank Arena.
