A Wichita man has been sentenced to prison for the fatal shootings of two people in a south side neighborhood in 2022.
A guilty plea was entered in May by 27-year-old Justin Macormac to charges of first degree murder and voluntary manslaughter. He was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison with patrol eligibility in 71 years.
Macormac was charged in the February 2022 shooting deaths of 38-year-old Bonnie Galloway and 30-year-old Connor O’Callaghan in the 2400 block of South Erie in Wichita. Police said the two victims had been living in a shed behind a home.
