Kansas Department of Revenue officials have revealed the winning design for a new personalized license plate.
More than 30,000 votes were cast by state residents, and the design that got the most votes is a representation of the Flint Hills. The design got 56 percent of the votes among the five designs that were offered.
The new design will be available in 2025, and it replaces the “Powering the Future” personalized plate design, which will no longer be available after Jan. 1st. Kansans who currently have this design must replace their plate during their next renewal period to keep their personalized plate text.
When the new design is available, Kansans can visit their local county treasurer’s office to purchase the new plate for $45.50.
