Kansas corrections officials are investigating the death of an inmate at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
The Department of Corrections said 36-year-old Matthew Dean Warren was found unresponsive in his cell on Sunday. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
Warren was serving a 130-month sentence for several convictions of aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, theft, and criminal damage to stolen property in Reno County, Kansas.
