A Wichita man was seriously injured Wednesday in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Chase County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said 45-year-old Michael Rader was riding a motorcycle southbound around 4 p.m. when he went off the roadway and hit a guardrail near mile marker 102. Rader was thrown from the motorcycle by the impact.
Rader was taken to a Wichita hospital with serious injuries.
