High Ridge, Missouri is where the AWESOME is today. Last week, 15-year-old Savannah Strother was babysitting 2 kids when a fire broke out and the family’s home security camera caught it all. What is showed was Savannah calmly saving the day. She carried one-year-old Alyiah and lead three-year-old Brysen out the home’s front door, amidst intense flames and smoke. Taylor Dixon, the children’s mother, calls Savannah a hero, saying the teen’s prompt response to the emergency prevented a tragedy, and Savannah’s mom, Brittany Strother, is deeply proud and grateful that her daughter was so brave, acknowledging how crucial it was that she remained calm. For her part, Savannah says that she just did what anyone would have done, focusing on getting the children out safely. Brave and Calm under pressure to save lives, Savannah THAT’S AWESOME.
