The Kansas Highway Patrol reported no traffic deaths over the July 4th holiday weekend. The KHP said troopers assisted 901 motorists during the weekend during the reporting period, which ran from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3 to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Troopers made 16 arrests for DUI.
