The Wichita Public Schools has started online open enrollment for grades 1 through 12 for the upcoming school year. The enrollment options can be found through the school district’s main web page at usd259.org/enroll
In-person enrollment for the 2024-25 school year will be July 29th through the 30th, from noon to 7 p.m. All kindergarten families will need to enroll in person. There is an additional Ages & Stages Questionnaire that all kindergarten students will need to complete to pinpoint developmental progress.
The first day of school for the 24-25 school year is Wednesday, August 14th. There will be a half-day orientation for all new middle and high school students on Tuesday, August 13th.
