An unidentified man was injured early Saturday when a fire broke out in a mobile home in McPherson.
Crews were called to the 200 block of Mockingbird Lane around 12:30 a.m. and they saw smoke and flames coming from the home. They got a man out of the home and took him to a local hospital, and he was later transferred to a Wichita hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office is involved in the case.
