UPDATE: The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of Friday’s fatal helicopter crash as 70-year-old Vincent Faber of Andale.
Emergency crews reported a pilot dead after a helicopter went down Friday morning in northwest Sedgwick County.
The crash was reported around 8 a.m. in the 5700 block of North 255th Street West, which is southwest of Andale.
Crews reported a crash scene behind a home.
Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputies and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene.
